Antique Japanese Garden Floral Premium Wallpaper in Grey and White

Large white flowers sit on a grey-brown ground with horizontal brush marks and the look of aged plaster; their centres are grey-brown, their edges spread like watercolour, and some fade into the ground. Twisting charcoal branches full of small five-petalled blossoms cross the upper half. White bamboo leaves rise through the lower third. The colour is limited to white, grey, taupe and charcoal; there is no landscape, water or birds, only flowers and branches.

Where it works

Use it behind a sofa in the living room and behind the bed in a bedroom. The ground is mid-toned, so in a room with little daylight it needs light linen, cream cushions and warm-light lamps. It pairs with a beige sofa, brown and mustard cushions, a dark wood side table and ceramic vases. Because the palette is neutral, the wall still fits when textiles and accessories change.
